Back in the fall of 2013 I started something that I had no idea I would continue with past Halloween of that year. I made my first wooden sword and I was hooked. Having a Halloween party I was invited too by a new girlfriend of the time, I naturally had to try to impress. That being said the party was a Disney themed party. So my mind immediately goes to Kingdom Hearts. I decided I would dress up as a character from the game series and make my own custom key blade! GENIUS! Little did I know that I would later lock myself up in my aunts basement working on my first project for 7 hours straight until it was finished.
Long story short the girl and I broke up, but my love for crafting and creating stayed and ever since then I have been creating various projects with my pal Dane who should be writing something very similar to this as I type. If you couldn't tell from my initial paragraph speaking of Kingdom hearts, I am an avid gamer, which is where a lot of my passion comes from. The majority of all of my projects are from video games and replicas of items from the games themselves. I recently finished a sword from the popular MMORPG World of Warcraft as well as a few items from inside the game including Hearthstones.
Currently I am working on something I have long looked forward too and in my mind long overdue. The Master Sword and Hylean Shield from the popular Legend of Zelda video game series. I cannot even begin to describe how excited I am for this project! I just cut it out and and looking forward for it to come together.
